Technology of White LED for Plant Growing(Smart Farm Technology)

What is White LED for Plant Growing?

All plants on Earth grow under light (light source), nutrients (culture medium), and environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide, etc.). Of course, it can be divided into sunny plants that need a lot of light and shade plants that don't need a lot of light. However, all plants are growing best in nature, and in particular, sunlight is an absolutely necessary element for plants and provides the best light environment. GLBTECH's plant-growth white light consists of eco-friendly LEDs, especially the blue wavelength (450nm) light source that plants need the most and the red wavelength (635, 644, 655nm) light source. In particular, it uses a light source with a color rendering index (95Ra or higher) that is almost similar to sunlight so that plants can grow under optimal light source conditions. Its performance is recognized by Big Smart Farm companies.

What are the advantages of plant-growth white lighting technology?

GLBTECH's plant-growth white light is made based on Ultra CRI LED almost identical to that of sunlight, so it shows superior evaluation results in light factors such as PPFD, which are necessary for plant growth, compared to competitors' color lighting. As a result of the test, it was evaluated that the growth in leafy vegetables and fruit vegetables was very good.

Red + Blue LED

  • Due to purple color, the workers’ eye-fatigue increased.
  • Impossible to recognize the exact color of plant and to verify any damage from disease and harmful insects.

GLBTECH’s High-CRI White LED

  • Low eye-fatigue under White color ambient.
  • Verifying the exact plant color
    can make immediate
    checking of plant’s conditions.

Applications

  • LED lighting for growing leafy vegetables (lettuce, kale, sesame leaves, bok choy, etc.)
  • LED lighting for growing fruity vegetables (tomatoes, strawberries, tangerines, cucumbers, dragon fruit, etc.)
  • LED lighting for seedlings (young sprouts grow after sowing seeds)
  • Mushroom and ginseng growth LED lighting (special wavelength light is provided)
  • Growing LED lighting for flowers (control the blossom time of flowers)
